Home of a mother, wife, writer

About Me

I am a mother, wife, and writer and over the last two years, have taught myself to knit and crochet. I enjoy it, but my passion is still my writing. I stay at home with my five year old daughter, Hayleigh, who will be starting Kindergarten in the fall, and 2.5 year old son, Nathaniel. I spend my days chasing him around, breaking up fights over toys, keeping the house decent(or not so much some days), reading stories, and carving out as much time to write as I can.

I have wanted to be a writer since I was about 8 years old and wrote a poem about how horrible my life was(it really wasn’t). My love affair with writing has continued over the last almost twenty years, though it has gone through it’s highs and lows. I write mostly romantic suspense, although I don’t limit myself to that.

If you’re coming here for advice on the craft of writing, you’ll leave disappointed. There are already plenty of blogs out there for that. And I have never been good at advice. This will be more of a place to display my journey.
