Home of a mother, wife, writer

…of weather. It’s gone from snow, to almost balmy temperatures, then back to snow. Seriously? This is getting old. I’d actually rather it just stay cold for a while than these ups and downs.

But, it’s been a good week regardless of the weather. I haven’t quite met my main writing goal for the week, but I’ve gotten a lot closer than last week. And I’ve finished up just about all my other weekly writing/editing goals. So, that’s a good feeling.

And last night we went out with a couple friends. Got dinner at Olive Garden then went to a local comedy club to see a show. We hardly stopped laughing from the time it started. That felt good, too.

Here’s hoping for another good week.

Comments on: "Sunday Summary: Weathering a Rollercoaster" (9)

  1. Our weather has been ridiculous as well – was still seven degrees out this morning, but at least that was above zero for a change. The forecast keeps calling for temps in the 30s, but when it still gets so cold at night, I don’t know if it’s worth the warm days.Oh, and freezing rain later today.
Anyway, keep plugging away at those goals. And I love the baby blanket square – is gorgeous.

  2. Same thing here in France with the weather; everyone’s getting sick (and sick of it too…)
Congrats on making even more progress this week.

  3. I so agree with Chris – I ADORE that square, and really, REALLY hope you plan to post a picture of the completed project! Makes me wish I was a baby, so I could be the one to be snuggled in that blue loveliness!

Really good week, even if you didn’t quite make it to all your weekly goals!

  4. I forgot to say that I have found laughter an indispensible tool for getting through the last few months. Maybe a comedy club ought to be in my not-too-distant future, too!

  5. The weather has been insane. 70 degrees one day, freezing rain two days later. I get migraines when the weather shifts like that, so, ugh. I’m not really even ready for spring. I just want summer when the weather is more consistent.

Sounds like you had a week that was both fun and productive. Yay! 🙂

    • We haven’t quite got to 70s, but we’ve had a couple days of 50s, then it’ll start snowing again.
It was a pretty good week. Thanks.
