Sunday Summary: Falling Off

I fell a little off my track this week. It was going pretty good until Thursday. Tuesday and Wednesday I only managed to meet my minimum goals but not much on bonus words like I try to. Thursday I met my minimum goal on Green Hills & Smoky Fields and I started another side project on my phone while we were at my mom’s for Thanksgiving. I did better on Friday, but I still hadn’t met my weekly goals. And on Saturday I had to do more outlining for 2 projects, so word count was once again a little low. I have less than 1500 to go between all goals. I may be able to get that today. We’ll see.

  1. I’m guessing that November is one of the more difficult months for writers who balance ‘real life’ with NaNoWriMo and other writing commitments. Miss the snippets but appreciate your progress. Persevere!

    • I’m guessing you are probably right. 🙂 And I have been making good progress, so I know I shouldn’t let myself worry that I was barely keeping up last week. I did meet each of my writing goals by the end of Sunday. And I should still meet the NaNo goal before the end of the month.

I usually add in the snippets when I finish a goal for the week, and By the Gun was the only one I did finish, but I forgot all about a snippet for that one.

  2. Keep up the good work! Taking a little time for life is okay too, that is why we love ROW80. Great week, no matter the goals made or missed. Happy writing.

  3. Prety good progress in spite of being distracted by life. Thanksgiving, a bit of bargain hunting, and (hopefully) a start to Christmas planning can all be a distraction. And can help rejuvenate the writerly part of your life.

  4. Every time I look at that gorgeous scarf, I grin. =D See? Oh, and great progress. I love that you even wrote at your mom’s house! =)

  5. […] Sunday Summary: End of the week check-in […]
