WeWriWa: “Kissed Devil”

Welcome back to another visit with the Weekend Writing Warriors, the blog hop for anyone who loves to write. Moving along in Dance with the Devil. Last week, Devil and Hawk finally kissed. Then, Devil started to act like nothing had happened, now Hawk’s cornered him in the gym at the clubhouse and Devil started to give in(AKA: they started making out) and one of the other Riders walks in.

Jumper glanced between the two of us, and a smirk lifted his lips. “Neither of ya could sleep, huh?”

I could feel heat climb up the back of my neck, and it threatened to show in my face, too. Hawk glanced quickly at me then faced Jumper again. “That’s right,” he said, “I just got back from a run and found Devil down here.”

“Uh huh,” Jumper said, still with that smirk twisting his lips. I wanted to punch it off his face. “That’s all that’s happening down here, right?”

“That’s right,” Hawk said as I turned for the stairs.

“So, the punching bag kissed Devil on the throat, huh?”

I’ll probably be continuing with this scene through the rest of this month. Also when I hope to be done with the first draft of this story.
